Kids Saving the Rainforest is a non-profit organization based in Quepos, Costa Rica

We operate a wildlife sanctuary that is home to nearly 50 animals who cannot be released back into the wild We offer educational tours to the public of our rescue center that rescues over 100 animals each year Our primary goal is rehabilitating these animals to be released back into the wild We help people learn about the dangers of human-wildlife interaction, the pet trade, and much more We teach people how to respect wildlife and to engage in ecologically responsible tourism

ASOMACAO is the acronym for “Association of Friends of Ara Macao”.

The association was founded in November 2014 to unite all organizations working with parrots and macaws in the Central Pacific of Costa Rica.

OUR MISSION

To develop rescue and rehabilitation projects, create biological connectivity and to reinforce environmental education & research for the conservation of the red macaw (“Ara Macao”) and other species of macaws and parrots in Costa Rica.

Marine Conservation

We are a non-profit organization based in Quepos – Manuel Antonio, dedicated to working towards a better ocean. We offer Reef Restoration Courses, Coral Internships & Marine Educational Courses.

PAWS

PAWS is a non-profit animal welfare organization that provides much needed services to the dog and cat populations in and around Quepos, Costa Rica.  Our all-volunteer team does the following work each year: Rescues hundreds of dogs and cats, spays and neuters over 1,200 cats and dogs, cares for an average of 80 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens to prepare them for adoption. Promotes animal welfare education both in the classroom and in the streets

Osa Conservation: 

Osa Conservation’s mission is to conserve the globally significant terrestrial and marine biological diversity of the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica by implementing ecosystem stewardship, enhancing scientific understanding, providing education and training, and creating sustainable economic opportunities.

Our work is founded in science and supported by strategic partnerships, well-informed decision-making processes, and a strong commitment to improving lives through protecting nature. We recognize that in order for conservation to succeed, it must be coupled with science, community engagement, and strong systems of support upon which to collaboratively build a more sustainable future.
