Eco Chontales Waterfall Experience with Blue Clay

Come with us on this half day adventure to one of Costa Rica’s best kept waterfall secrets in the Southern Pacific of Costa Rica. This is the perfect tour for the entire family looking to experience a piece of the Costa Rican jungle, complete with perfectly safe swimming holes, small and moderate cliff jumps, areas for amazing photos and even a mini waterslide!
We begin our adventure by picking you up at your place of stay and then heading south to our destination. There is a little bit of drive (1h 20m), but don’t worry, the drive itself is something out of a movie! In route to the waterfall, we will drive along the coastline with epic views of the Pacific Ocean, sections of jungle that will have you thinking you’re in Jurassic Park.
Upon arrival, our short hike down into the river begins! As we enter the canyon and round the final bend, your senses will heighten as we come to face a panoramic view of the majestic 150-foot waterfall. Leaving our vantage point we will guide you to the many different features Eco Chontales has to offer! There is a small jump (6 feet) which is perfect for all members of the family, including the little ones and for the thrill-seeker there is a second jump of 9 meters (28 feet +/-)!

After we have explored all the features of the waterfall, we will top off the experience by turning into Avatars. We will create a mini on the spot-spa and apply mineral rich naturally colored blue clay on our bodies. This “rainforest clay” we provide is sourced near fresh spring water and is renowned for its healthy skin care properties.

For those seeking relaxation, there are perfect places for setting down a towel and unwinding amidst the jungle! After all the fun and excitement, we will walk about 30 yards over to the river-side restaurant and enjoy a fresh and delicious typical Costa Rican meal to the sound of the waterfall.
